I'm proud of myself. I've been eating healthy for about three weeks! Lots of fruits and vegetables. And I'm even cooking almost every day. Of course, I'm also eating less candies.

The bad part of living all by myself is that I became a housewife. It sucks when you think that after a whole working day, you still have to get home and iron clothes. Even if I don't do this very often, it still feels like too much.

My paper is almost done. It just needs to be reviewed and I need to write the bibliography properly. Next week, I should already start the other one I have to do. So, it won't be done at the last minute again.
I'm trying to get a new driving license. Mine is not valid anymore since March. But it's soooooo burocratic. And people can't really give the right information. As I got my license in Itanhaém, I was told I couldn't only get my new one at the traffic departament in that city. And they don't work on Saturdays. I'd have to lose, at least, two work days. One to apply and another to get the document. I was willing to pay like three times the price from the traffic departament to get it through a driving school. And when I called, by mistake, the non-practical driving school (where we learn first aid, mechanic - i confess i didn't really learn it), the guy there informed that I can get my new document here in São Paulo and in just one day. After all this novel, wish me luck tomorrow with this!

I finally started my paper (what a shame!!). I always have a problem to decide what I want to write about. And my professor said: "The paper can be about anything we discussed in class". Then, I changed my mind a couple of times until I decided to write about Berlin's Wall - East and West Germany.
Yesterday I visited Karina and she showed me her new camera: a Canon Rebel XT. We were talking about photography and I've got some ideas for photo shooting. I just wish I had more time to transform ideas into photos. And I need to find where my tripod is.
It's time to go to bed.

This was a funny day.
I haven't taken many pictures lately, but i hope this will change soon. I want to do more portraits.
Soon, I'll take pictures of Adalba's (the guy in the photo) wife. She's pregnant.
It's my last week to hand in the first paper for my pos-graduation course. It will determine my final grade for the subject Cold War. I need a 7 (from a 0 up to 10 scale). What is scaring me, I still haven't decided about what I wantto write. And time is flying!!

Walls of Jericho is playing Brazil next month. When I had a band, we did a cover (Playing Soldier Again) from them. Until today I have a mp3 from the song recorded live in our last show. Terrible quality!!
I talked to Marcos (the owner of Liberation Records) and he said he'll get me a pass, so I can photograph from the stage. The venue has a high stage. Last time I tried to take pictures from the shows, they came out really bad and I also had to hear some stupid security man saying I couldn't stay where I was.
One week after WOJ, Throwdown will be here. I guess we never had many good shows in such a short time as we do now.

Today there were four seminars for accounting professionals. And I had to take pictures of all of them. This part was fine, but to wait from the beginning until the end to take all the pictures was a real torture. I even slept during the first one. I swear I tried not to. But the subject was soooo boring and nothing that I understood about.
The good partof all this is that time passed fast. One day less without Matthias. Schön!!!

9:09 pm - Arbex rocks!

My Saturdays now belong to academic world. Soon, just Saturday mornings.
But the classes yesterday were great. The subject is Cold War and we managed to discuss about Libanon and PCC (a group that is causing some panic in São Paulo lately). Arbex told us about when he went to Cabul and some people were trying to put the plane down. The hadto fly with all lights out, but the missileswere guided by heat. The plane had to deliver some "heat balls" to fool the missiles. Just imagine two hours in that situation. And what did he do? He slept!!!
I already liked him as a journalist before. Having classes with him is just great! And I hope he'll be teaching other subjects in this course.

The news here are irritating me lately. In October, we'll have elections (and I'll have to work during one or, probably, two Sundays). And everything tvnews and newspaper show daily the "candidates' activities". It's not going to change my opinion concerning politians to know that he was in Rio discussing things about his campaign or that she took a walk in her hometown. So boring!!

it's the second day i wake up 20 minutes before my alarm clock rings. i was having such great nights of sleep. what is happening?
i just heard on tv, the workers from the subway went on a strike. it will take me twice the time to get to work by bus. what a start.

concerning pcc, things were okay today. no chaotic monday!
but i had big problems at work in the afternoon to stay awake. i was almost falling sleep. i don't know why, but i feel like i spend a whole night awake and that's so not true.
now, i'll go to bed. i should do some homework, but i can't really concentrate now.

it feels wonderful to write that i finally have internet access at my flat in são paulo. just great.
when the bus entered the city today, one bad thing. a bus garage was set on fire in a neighbourhood in the southzone of the city. shit! i wonder if tomorrow is going to be chaotic like the monday right after mother's day. ouch!

yesterday, i should had had a seminar about my pos-graduation course (I'll study International Journalism), but they cancelled it. First class will happen on Thursday. But I confess that I'm more excited about the chance of having classes with José Arbex Jr. - one of the coolest and most intelligent journalists in Brazil.
i got a call saying i'll have to work during elections in october. bummer! the positive sight of this is that for each sunday i'll work, i'll get two days off from my job. i plan to make my vacation a bit longer.
soon i'll have internet at home in são paulo. my dad had to buy a new computer for his studies and gave me his old pc.
love news: matthias arrives on august 23rd. ^___^

i miss having internet at home in são paulo.
life there is so hectic.
i was taking german classes, but my teacher will go back to germany. so sad!
i gotta look for other course. and also for a pos-graduation one.
and i'm feeling so lonely. it's been already a month since i moved into my own flat. on one hand it's good to live by myself. on the other, it feel pretty strange to get home and have no one to talk.

it's great when, while the first two homework you did for a course are being checked, your photography teacher gives compliments to a couple of pictures. it's even better when one of his friends, who happens to also be a photographer, says "she has a future". yeah, that happened to me.
somehow, i still think that i used to be more creative some time ago. but i'm damn happy, of course!
